New GDS 18W Single Channel chassis now available
Folks,
The new Single Channel S/C chassis from GDS is now available. Plexi panels are in stock as are chassis. We have built up a couple builds (see Dan's in the main tech area) and the chassis is working great. See my blog for more information...

It is 11" wide by 8" deep x 2.5" tall. The 8" dimension will be actually 8.125" once you add two plexi panels.radstringz wrote:Graydon, what are the dimensions of that chassis? Will it fit in a standard Marshall-style small box?

It will not fit in any normal Marshall box because the 8" depth is too deep. However, Jeff Swanson at Swanson Cabinets and Anthony at Reason amps can build head cabinets for this chassis.

Note too in one of the photos, you can see that there are extra pot holes in the front panel so that we can make a TMB panel for those who would like an S/C TMB.
Another thought I had is that this chassis has sufficient tubes to build a Marshall 20W although it would be too small to properly fit a 20W cab. My old Marshall 20 watter rips. I'd build a clone of that one any day.
