What are these Arcturus 5751 (12AX7s) in my 24,000 tube lot?
Hello everyone. A few weeks ago I decided to get into the tube providing business. I bought out a radio repair shop in Paxton IL. That shop had over time bought out 7-8 other repair shops. Thus I was able to obtain about 24,000 tubes. I'd say 1/2 are radio and 1/4 amp, the rest TV tubes.
In my new collection I found these Arcturus 5751 tubes. Does anyone have any information about these? On the box it says, Arcturus since 1925. I'm assuming that they actually made their own tubes? Has anyone tried them out?
Thanks for any info. I'll post some pics tomorrow, it's late.

All I know is that they are $90 a pair on FleaBay. (x24,000 = Ka-ching!)

Also, that the Arcturus Radio Tube Company was a vacuum tube manufacturer of the 1920's and 30's. They built vacuum tubes made with blue-colored glass "for a very memorable look".

I'm the "wrong" side of the pond: 4,500 miles from real ale. Help!
